The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry invites applicants for a lecturer position. Hires will be made as needed to address ongoing teaching needs. Teaching responsibilities would include chemistry and/or biochemistry lectures and laboratories. The department has a strong and proven reputation for educating and training women of African-descent to excel in STEM fields. As such, the department is seeking a scholar-teacher dedicated to excellence in teaching and scholarly activities and the continued enhancement of the academic environment for students and colleagues. This includes a demonstrated interest in mentoring diverse populations, an ability to contribute effectively to undergraduate teaching and curriculum development in a liberal arts environment.

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related area preferred. Experience teaching General, Organic, Analytical, or Physical Chemistry or Biochemistry.
