Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of the Health Careers Program with the evaluation and assessment of programming and student outcomes. The Graduate Program Assistant also serves as a liaison to other academic departments to obtain information on student recruitment, retention, and graduation of pre-health students within majors across campus.

This individual will work 10 hours per week—actual work schedule will be determined by manager. Anticipated end date for this position is May 1, 2018.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement assessments for the evaluation of curricula for designated initiatives and programs offered by the Health Careers Program.
• Develop and implement assessments for the evaluation of student academic performance in preparation for graduate and professional school.
• Work with the director to coordinate events and speakers for pre-professional students in scholars program and living learning community.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, or health-related field and 1 year of job related-experience is required.

Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software preferred.
